BMW is introducing its new electric car flagship – the battery version i7 – this year, alongside the latest iteration of the 7 Series. Several weeks before the BMW 7 Series's world launch, Head of Development Frank Weber unveiled facts about the vehicle. He promised "technological highlights" and a "one-of-a-kind interior experience comprised of digital elements and premium materials."
BMW intends to unveil the BMW i7 100% electric vehicle in April. The Bavarians promoted the event by publishing silhouettes of the front and inside. Additionally, the first data regarding the electric drive were published, indicating combined power consumption of 18.9 kWh/100 kilometers, which is relatively low for such a massive electric vehicle. The WLTP standard specifies a range of 580 to 610 kilometers. These are still projections depending on the stage of development at the time of writing.
