Kia has released images of their latest electric vehicle offering, the Kia EV9, and it's clear that this SUV will be a game-changer in the world of electric cars. Boasting a range of impressive features, the Kia EV9 is set to break new ground in the class, offering a confident, connected design and sustainable design.
Inspired by Kia's design philosophy, "Opposites United," the Kia EV9 combines the strength and capacity of an SUV with the sophistication and efficiency of an electric car. The exterior's sharp lines and smooth surfaces contribute to efficient aerodynamics, while the profile conveys a strong SUV identity. The front of the EV9 is characterized by straight, clean lines and surfaces that exude confidence and calm, with upright headlights that hint at the advanced technology hiding under the shell.
Under the hood, the Kia EV9 is built on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), which was also used in the Kia EV6 GT. This means a long wheelbase and a spacious interior, with the option for either six or seven seats. In the six-seater version, the second-row seats can be easily turned 180 degrees, allowing passengers to interact with those in the third row while waiting for the car to finish charging.
The interior of the Kia EV9 is both tasteful and stylish, providing ample space and high comfort while also facilitating interaction with technology. All functions are conveniently located around the instrument panel, which features a wide panoramic screen consisting of two 12.3-inch screens and one 5-inch screen. Below the infotainment screen, a row of hidden touch buttons controls the climate control system.
