After the EQS sedan launch, Mercedes-Benz launches the EQS electric SUV. Customers in Europe will begin receiving the Mercedes-Benz EQS electric SUV models in December. The Mercedes-Benz plant manufactures the EQS electric SUV in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Mercedes promises plenty of interior space, comfort, connectivity, and a powerful and practical electric drive. Seats in the second row can be electrically adjusted as standard. The seats in a third row with two extra seats can be purchased as an option. The seats in the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV can be mechanically folded out of the loading area. That's the same height when the seats are folded down. The second row of seats comes standard with an "Easy Entry" feature that works in conjunction with the third row.
The Mercedes-Benz EQS 450+ electric SUV has a 265 kW (360 hp) engine and can reach speeds of 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.7 seconds with a rear-wheel drive (RWD). The standard range of the EQS 450+ is around 664 kilometers per charge. The Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4MATIC has 400 kW (544 hp), all-wheel drive (AWD), and sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. Mercedes hasn't included the EQS 450 4MATIC's technical specifications in its online configurator.
Mercedes-Benz has bundled essential features into separate packages for the benefit of its customers: Advanced, Advanced Plus, Premium, Premium Plus, and Business Class. The packages are available depending on the model type that you have purchased. Individually, there are a variety of additional options.
Using the "Mercedes me Charge" service in Europe, three new charging rates have been available as of June 2022. Each rate is based on an individual's mileage. As long as the buyer has registered with Mercedes me Charge, they are automatically assigned to the L tariff. This tariff is intended for drivers who travel long distances. It costs 0.06 euros per minute to use the AC charger at the cost of 0.33 euros per kWh.
The Ionity network charges 0.35 euros per kWh for fast charging. Drivers of Mercedes-Benz EQS electric SUVs can get a year's worth of free electricity from the European fast-charging network with "Ionity Unlimited." @via Mercedes-Benz EQS.
