Polestar and CAKE have teamed up to unveil a special and exclusive Polestar edition of the Makka electric scooter. This model will be the first to be made available in North America. The sky hue of this new moped was chosen because it was inspired by the exterior color initially seen on the Polestar electric roadster concept.
The first CAKE Makka Polestar electric scooter was released in 2021 and was only available in a matte finish called Polestar Snow. This edition of the electric scooter featured a special Polestar touch and design element, and it sold out almost as soon as it was available. In addition to the one-of-a-kind paint job, the Ohlins dampers and slimmer headlights found on the Polestar edition are also included. The new CAKE Makka electric scooter model also comes equipped with a rear carrier that can be detached, expanding the range of possible configurations for the electric commuter bike to include passenger seats, racks, boxes, and more.
The CAKE Makka Polestar electric scooter has a maximum speed of 28 miles per hour and two different ride modes so that you can choose between extended range and balanced performance. CAKE is the one in charge of sales and distribution; however, the Polestar version can only be purchased at a retail price of $5,300 and is only available in specific Polestar markets exclusively through the Polestar Additionals webshop beginning on December 14, 2022.
The Polestar Additionals webshop went live in 2021 and sells Polestar lifestyle products such as t-shirts, hoodies, bags, and water bottles. Additionally, the webshop features mobility solutions such as Polestar editions of the CAKE Makka electric scooter and the Allebike Alpha high-end mountain bike. The Polestar edition of the CAKE Makka is now available for purchase and shipping in the following Polestar markets: the United States of America, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
