Volkswagen will present the updated ID.3 in spring 2023. This is the next step in the electric ID family. With the release of the updated ID3, production capacity is being increased. The ID.3 will be made at the main factory in Wolfsburg, Germany, and in Zwickau and Dresden. This is to meet the high demand for compact electric family cars.
The new Volkswagen ID.3 comes with the latest generation of software, which makes the system run better and can get over-the-air updates. The standard equipment has also been improved and now comes with a 30.5-centimeter touchscreen, a boot floor that can be taken out, and a center console with two cup holders.
The new Volkswagen ID.3 makes charging even more accessible with features like Plug & Charge and intelligent e-route planning in the navigation system. The Volkswagen ID3 uses the latest generation of assistance systems, such as Travel Assist with clod data and Park Assist Plus with a memory function.
One of Volkswagen's goals is to offer state-of-the-art technologies and innovations in all models, even the smaller ones. The Volkswagen ID3 is an excellent example of this when it comes to new comfort and assistance systems, where we take the next step toward automated driving with cloud data in the latest Travel Assist.
The 2023 Volkswagen ID3 will be unveiled for the first time in spring and will likely be on sale by summer 2023.
"The new Volkswagen ID.3 will show that we are committed to quality, design, and sustainability," says Imelda Labbé, a member of Volkswagen's board in charge of sales, marketing, and after-sales. "The design looks more mature, and we have upgraded the materials in the interior." The team that worked on the facelifted ID3 took several customer suggestions to improve the product and increase the standard equipment. "We always focus on our customers and their needs, so we listen carefully and try to make sure our product portfolio fits their needs," says Labbé.
