The new Mercedes EQB electric SUV can be ordered for 55,300 euros. The 4684 mm long, 1834 mm wide, and 1667 mm high Mercedes EQB offers five seats as standard and is optionally available as a seven-seater.
Initially, the model range includes the all-wheel-drive Mercedes-Benz EQB 300 4MATIC with 168 kW (229 hp) and Mercedes EQB 350 4MATIC with 215 kW (292 hp). The more powerful version starts at 57,900 euros. The new Mercedes EQB goes from zero to one hundred in 8.0 and 6.2 seconds, with a maximum of 160 km / h. In addition, one year of "Mercedes me Charge" is included with the Mercedes EQB. Via Mercedes me Charge, Mercedes customers access a network with over 600,000 charging points worldwide and benefit from an integrated payment function.
In both versions of the Mercedes EQB, a 66.5 kWh battery provides energy. The range is up to 419 kilometers in each case, according to the WLTP standard. Charging power of up to 11 kW can be drawn at home on a wall box; the battery is then fully charged in 5 hours and 45 minutes. The Mercedes EQB can be charged with a maximum of 100 kW from 10 to 80 percent in 32 minutes at fast-charging stations. The power consumption registered is within 18.1 to 19.4 kWh / 100 km.
According to Mercedes, the third row of seats with two additional individual seats can comfortably accommodate people up to 1.65 meters tall. The safety equipment includes extendable headrests, seat belts with belt tensioners and force limiters on all outer seats, and a side window bag covering the passengers in the third row of seats.
The Mercedes-Benz EQB has intelligent driver assistance systems with cooperative support for the driver. The driver assistance package, subject to a surcharge, offers extended functions. These include the turning function, the emergency lane function, the exit warning function for approaching cyclists or vehicles, and the warning of people detected in the area of zebra crossings.
Mercedes has announced further variants of the EQB, including a particularly long-range version with front-wheel drive.
