What Makes the EV6 Stand Out?
The EV6 is Kia’s flagship model for its new Plan S strategy, which aims to increase its share of electric vehicles to 40% by 2030. The EV6 is built on a new Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), which allows for a flat floor and a spacious cabin. The EV6 also boasts a fast-charging capability, which can replenish up to 80% of the battery in just 18 minutes.
The EV6 comes in four trim levels: EV6, EV6 GT-Line, EV6 GT, and EV6 First Edition. The base EV6 offers a rear-wheel drive (RWD) configuration with a 58 kWh battery and an estimated range of 210 miles. The EV6 GT is a performance-oriented model with a whopping 576 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds.
The Kia EV6 First Edition is a limited-edition model that will be available for reservation starting on October 27, 2023. The First Edition will have the same AWD configuration as the GT-Line but with some exclusive features such as a dual-pane sunroof, a 14-speaker Meridian sound system, and an augmented reality head-up display (AR HUD). The First Edition will also have a unique color scheme of Steel Gray Matte with black or green seats.
