The Ford Mustang Mach-E electric SUV is already a versatile and appealing option for people looking to buy an electric car, and the increased roof weight further improves this. For example, it is possible to transport bags, skis, and other equipment weighing more than 40 kilograms thanks to the allowed roof load, for example, by loading a ski box weighing roughly 30 kilograms onto the roof. The racks may also accommodate bicycles and canoes.
There is no need to make any modifications to the automobile or produce any additional paperwork to verify the roof weight. As part of the upcoming wireless Ford Power-Up upgrade, the increased roof weight will be added to the vehicle's SYNC 4 manual.
The new Mustang Mach-E with rear and four-wheel drive (not GT) and a larger 98 kWh battery boosted its towing capacity from 750 kg to 1000 kg starting in May.
